Job Description

PICK-n-PULL Auto Dismantlers is a self-service auto dismantling and recycling company, now with 60+ LOCATIONS throughout the U.S. and Canada, which is focused on consolidating the highly fragmented recycled auto parts market. The Truck Drive will operate the Tow truck in accordance with Company Policy.

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to safely load and transport vehicles.
  • The ability to maneuver the tow truck to ensure that the vehicle can be properly lifted.
  • Securely attach the winch chain to the vehicle.
  • Using the winch pull the vehicle onto the bed of the tow truck.
  • Once on the bed of the tow truck, secure vehicle with chains.
  • Upon arrival to destination properly remove chain from vehicle
  • Lower the vehicle onto the ground.
  • Secure and prepare tow truck for next pick up.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Marginal Functions:

  1. Knowledge and experience in the Auto Dismantling Industry.
  2. Prior experience in operating a Loader or similar equipment A +.
Required Skills


  • Must have valid Class A Driver License.
  • Must attend retraining classes annually that meet company standards and expectations.
  • Must successfully complete the Chemical Hazards Training program.
  • Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to handle multiple competing tasks and priorities.
  • Perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • To work flexible shifts and schedules.
  • Use proper safety equipment and safety procedures.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing required within State, Federal and Provincial guidelines.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age for Canada and 18 years of age for USA.

Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions:

  • Sitting, walking, bending, stretching are required regularly to perform job function, production, and environmental/safety responsibility functions.
  • Able to sit for 6-8 hours per day in two hour intervals.
  • Manual dexterity to handle tools and the ability to move 50 pounds are regularly required to perform routine functions.
  • Vision must be sufficient to perform job functions as described above.
  • Good eye hand coordination and good motor skills.

Job Conditions:

  • Exposure on a regular basis to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Periodic exposure to minimal chemical hazards.
Required Experience

All U.S. applicants must be 18 years of age or older and all Canada applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
