Job Description

The Millwright will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and assembling of machinery in the yard. The successful candidate will be involved in assembling machinery of a unit and ensuring the proper functioning of the same.

Required Skills

Responsibilities:

  • Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies
  • Testing equipment for proper performance and ensuring that all work done meets manufacturers' specifications and legislated regulations
  • Diagnosing various equipment faults or malfunctions and repairing them
  • Refurbishing machinery and replacing parts to optimize output
  • Placing orders for spare and replacement parts and filing order forms and documentation for the same
  • Interpreting work orders and technical manuals
  • Maintaining a record of all maintenance work that has been conducted on the machinery

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Millwright Certification
  • Ability to detect technical malfunctions and repair the same
  • Class 5 Driver's License (with clean abstract)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines
  • Basic computer knowledge/skills
Required Experience
