Job Description

The eLearning Coordinator will handle a wide variety of situations and tasks involving the clerical and administrative functions for the department, along with tracking, recording, and maintaining company-wide Learning & Development programs and initiatives. The role will support the Company’s Learning Management System (LMS) by evaluating data integrity, identifying gaps, assigning training programs, maintaining training tracking systems, while working closely with the Manager of Learning and Development to develop eLearning training, and ensure computer based programs and training are properly addressing operational effectiveness.

Essential Functions

  1. Transfer current training content into computer based training (CBT) learning modules to ensure employee understanding of operational and leadership functions within the organization.
  2. Perform daily/weekly LMS maintenance – conduct data uploads, activate / inactivate user accounts, interface with Human Resources to resolve account issues, create and distribute custom / canned reports to stakeholders.
  3. Provide administrative support to field employees.
  4. Assign and track monthly online training programs to completion, update tracking reports, and drive monthly CBT completion rates.
  5. Collect and distribute monthly deliverables – receive, file, and track monthly deliverables; publish monthly and quarterly scorecard.
  6. Evaluate training effectiveness using surveys, cost-analysis, training records and reports.
  7. In partnership with Manager of Learning and Development, must be able to creatively design interactive training that engages adult learners.
  8. Translate training materials to vernacular Spanish of workforce (no slang).
  9. Responsible for Spanish audio narration for Spanish eLearning content.
  10. This position will also assist with other special projects and deliverables and other duties as applicable.


  1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  2. Requires experience in design of eLearning content in Articulate or Articulate Storyline (preferred) or similar eLearning design programs.
  3. Requires advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with MS Word and Visio Experience with SharePoint a plus.
  4. Requires 1-3 years database administration. Report builder experience is preferred.
  5. Tech savvy nature and excellent problem solving skills highly desirable.
  6. Highly organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple, concurrent projects.
  7. Ability to communicate by phone, in writing, and in person in a professional manner with all levels of personnel.
  8. Interpersonal skills including the ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate programs to others. 
  9. Able to collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions in controlled situations.
  10. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish highly preferred with proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.
  11. Maintaining confidentiality is essential.
